How does Electrolysis work?
A professional Electrologist inserts a very fine probe (usually the size of the hair being treated) into the natural opening of the hair, alongside the hair shaft. A tiny amount of electrical current is then applied to create a chemical or heat energy reaction to destroy the Dermal Papilla, which is the blood supply for new hair growth. The treated hair is then removed.
Electrolysis is the only form of permanent hair removal recognized by the FDA.
